Aluminum Vitus 979 Frame from the 1980’s.
The 979 is a bonded aluminum frame. The main triangle is anodized aluminum. The tubes were made by Vitus. The frames were made and assembled by the French Aerospace Company TVT. The tubes are bonded into the lugs with dry heat activated epoxy.
