“In 1984 Campagnolo introduces the C-Record group at the “Vicenza Bike Trade Exhibition”. In 1985 the C-Record group comes available for World Pro Teams only!!
In 1987 this astonishing group set came on the market for all of us enthusiastic customers.
There are three main elements that distinguishes this first generation seat post from the later version 1987-’91:
– The little rim/flange below the aero part.
– Insert inscription: This first generation seat post reads ‘limit’ while the second generation reads ‘made in italy-limit’.
– Chromed clamp bolt & washer.
