Made by Boscariolo in Padova, this one is from 1973.
The “cicli OLYMPIA” Logo is fully embroidered/ needlepointed.
Very beautiful and a very rare piece of history.
“Olympia bicycles have always been aesthetically beautiful as well as beautifully engineered and the passion for style and aesthetics extended to the way Olympia bicycles were advertised. In 1930’s Olympia commissioned one of the greatest illustrators of all time ‘Luciano Achille Mauzan’ to create its jerseys and posters. Mauzan was famous for designing posters for Campari, Cliquot champagne and Fernet Branca. His jerseys and posters for Olympia are now highly prized by collectors worldwide.”
