SOcietà MECcanica was founded in 1973 by Oliviero Gallegati in Lugo di Romagna (Italy). Gallegati’s perfect craftsmanship became famous in the 1980’s for the use of advanced tubes, lugs and their special paintjobs. In the 1990’s he was one of the first frame builders using lugless TIG welded tubes. SOMEC is still one of the best frame manufacturers today!!
This Somec Top Class is built with the very special Columbus EL (Extra Leggeri) Tubing!!
